A Pig in the Poles

She hoped that I could be a therapy dog because I’m little, sweet, cute, and I know lots of tricks. But, that hasn’t happened because I’m still just a little too afraid of the world. Maybe it will happen someday for me, but in the meantime, I take agility classes for fun and entertainment. Unfortunately, I don’t bend through the weave poles like a border collie because I’m shaped like a pig. And I wouldn’t miss the weave pole entry on the first try if my teammate would just queue me correctly. Jeez, lady.
Here I am in my very first agility trial being sort of fast despite my pig-like physique. She seemed happy about the ribbons I won, but I didn’t really care. I’m a dog and I do it because it’s fun to run.

Well done, Audie! Not everyone can be a border collie. You're perfectly good at being you. And maybe once your lady figures out how to line you up for the weave poles correctly, you'll have the best piggy shimmy the agility world has ever seen.

You rock Audie! You dogs keep showing the world how great you are and what we all would have missed if you were not allowed to live. Thanks for enriching our lives and reminding us why dogs were always mans' best friend. We will keep on trying our best to stop dog fighting/animal abuse as much as we can. Any dog that can be saved from abuse is worth the effort. So happy for you Audie.

I just found out that Leo, one of Vick's former victims, now a wonderful therapy dog, just recently died from a severe seizure disorder. Rest in peace sweet Leo. You will be greatly missed.

Audie that was amazing- I am going to go straight home and show this to my friend Owen the Bull Terrier. He, like you, hasn't grown into his awesomeness yet...
But it's coming.
He was a rescue and he's my very best friend, other than my tall human and his sister Miss Raven the AmStaff.
Thanks for being such an amazing dude!
Happy Holidays to you and your pets too!
Tracy
